This
light, bright, spacious, contemporary, reverse level home has been converted
to a very high standard from an old church house, which has been used
as a barn, in the centre of the charming village of South Pool - considered
to be one of the prettiest creek-side villages in the South Hams. There
is parking for three or four cars to the front of the property and there
is further parking available in the road. The back garden is private and
totally enclosed with a large raised terrace and barbeque area from which
there is access up to a lawn bordered by raised flower beds. NOTE: For
smaller parties, Church House can be divided to provide accommodation
for up to five people.
From the fabulous bedrooms and bathrooms, downstairs, two glass panelled staircases lead upstairs, one to the sitting room and one to the kitchen. These two rooms divide and extend across the entire length of the property, both featuring extensive skylights, exposed vaulted roof beams, superb lighting and polished wood laminate floors. There is a wide screen TV with Sky and Sky Sports to keep you entertained. The sitting room is furnished with large comfortable sofas, cushioned window seats extend across the huge feature window and give views up the village street.
South Pool is situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty, it is a picture postcard village with its thatched cottages, resident ducks and stepping stones. The famous Millbrook Inn and creek are just a few steps away. There is a village slipway from which small boats and canoes may be launched at high tide.

Depending on low/mid or high season prices range from £500-£600 for short breaks and £750-£1750 for a week.
